MSL Germany counts among the most successful communications consultancies in the German market, with offices in Berlin, Frankfurt (Main), Hamburg,

Dr. Wigan Salazar

Chief Executive Officer

Wigan Salazar, MSL Germany’s Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for the operative business of MSL Germany and represents the consultancy in MSLGROUP’s European Executive Management. Salazar advises many of MSL Germany’s largest clients at the nexus of strategic communications, crisis communications, and public affairs. Salazar joined the company in 2001 as team lead. Before this, he completed a doctorate in economic history at the University of London and then worked for the German Member of Parliament Steffen Kampeter, in the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and for the Internet startup SymplOn. He joined the management team in 2005.

Axel Wallrabenstein

Chairman

Axel Wallrabenstein is MSL Germany’s Chairman. His main focus is on public affairs, political communications, and crisis communications. Together with Prof. Dr. Gregor Halff, he in 2001 co-founded the agency Publicis Public Relations/ Publicis Consultants, which became part of MSLGROUP in 2009. Prior to this, Wallrabenstein was spokesperson of Berlin’s Senator of Science, Research, and Cultural Affairs and spokesperson of the Saxon Ministry of the Interior. Wallrabenstein hosts the exclusive forum “Politischer Salon” for MSL Germany, where politicians engage in conversations with representatives from business,
media, and culture.

Martin Dohmen

Chief Strategy Officer

Martin Dohmen manages strategic development projects for MSL Germany’s clients. As advisor, he plans and facilitates cross-sector, international positioning, profiling, and corporate identity processes and develops corresponding stories and messages. His core competences are reputation and issues management and integrated issues campaigns. Dohmen previously was an Associate Partner and Manager of Client Consultancy at Publicis Public Relations and worked on a management level for leading corporate communications and PR consultancies. Dohmen holds a degree in political science, a diploma in European Marketing, and has lectured at the International School of Management (ISM) for several years.

Kirsten Leinert

Managing Director

Kirsten Leinert, who joined MSL Germany in 2004, is responsible for the Berlin-based agency team that specializes in Public Affairs and Reputation Management as well as the Hamburg-based creative team. As Managing Director, she is responsible for portfolio development and portfolio marketing as well as qualification at MSL Germany on a company-wide level. Her main focus is on Reputation Management and Strategy, particularly for international clients. Kirsten Leinert joined the Berlin-based agency team prior to completing her studies of communication sciences and North American studies in Berlin and at Indiana University (USA).

Christoph Moosbauer

Managing Director

Christoph Moosbauer is part of MSL Germany‘s Management team since January 2015. As Managing Director, he strengthens MSL Germany’s public affairs and corporate affairs offering. Prior to joining MSL Germany, Moosbauer has gained consultancy experience as a member of the executive board of the communications and strategy consultancy Concilius for more than a decade. From 1998 to 2002, he served as a directly elected member of the German Parliament for the electoral district of Southern Munich. In this position, he was a member of the foreign affairs committee and the SPD parliamentary group spokesperson for Middle East policy. Today, Moosbauer remains active in the “Managerkreis der Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung“ and committed as vice-chairman of the „WirtschaftsForum der Sozialdemokratie in München e.V.“.

Birgit Söllner

Managing Director

Birgit Söllner joined MSL Germany in 2008 and succeeded in turning the newly founded Munich-based team into the agency’s most dynamic office. In March 2012, she was appointed Managing Director and has since been responsible on a company-wide level for international PR, efficiency, and quality. She is moreover responsible for the development of MSL Germany’s teams in Frankfurt (Main) and Munich. Söllner completed her studies of history and literature in Munich and Berlin and studied culture and project management in Ludwigsburg and at the University of California at Berkeley. Before joining MSL Germany, she headed the Berlin-based office of a PR agency specializing in Corporate Responsibility and culture communications for almost four years.

Beatrice Seibel

Chief Financial Officer

Beatrice Seibel joined MSL Germany’s management team as Chief Financial Officer in September 2014. As former Local CFO at Publicis Pixelpark in Frankfurt (Publicis Groupe), Finance Director at Young & Rubicam Group (WPP Group) and Business Affairs Manager at Wundermann (WPP Group also), she gained extensive experience working in agency networks. On top of her finance duties, she has also worked with various clients mainly in the fields consumer, healthcare and automotive. Beatrice Seibel was trained at Hannover Business School in business administration.

Prof. Dr. Stefanie Clemen

Advisory Board Member

Prof. Dr. Stefanie Clemen is one of Germany’s most distinguished healthcare specialists. She started her career at the research-based pharmaceutical company Janssen-Cilag and held leading positions in communications agencies for 15 years. Clemen is a guest lecturer in health economics at Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln. She advises MSL Germany’s management regarding the strategic development of its healthcare practice and also advises MSL Germany’s clients, making use of her extensive experience.

 

Prof. Dr. Gregor Halff

Advisory Board Member

Prof. Dr. Gregor Halff is associate professor in executive education at ESMT European School of Management and Technology in Berlin. The Dutch communication scientist co-founded Publicis Relations / Publicis Consultants with Axel Wallrabenstein and co-managed the company until 2005. Prior to this, he worked in the field of corporate communications at Siemens AG, where he ultimately headed corporate communications of SiemensElektroCom (Konstanz / Arlington, USA). Until 2014 he was professor for corporate communications at Singapore Management University (SMU). His main focus as Senior Advisor at MSL Germany is on advising international clients in the areas of communication strategy, internal communications, and crisis communications.

 

Peter Radunski

Advisory Board Member

Peter Radunski is a former Senator of the state of Berlin and long-standing general manager of the German political party CDU. He is recognized as one of the world’s leading experts for political campaigning, was responsible for numerous election campaigns on all levels in Germany, and advised politicians and parties worldwide on campaign and positioning matters. He assumed executive government responsibility as Senator for Federal and European Affairs and for Science and Arts of the state of Berlin. Radunski counts among the most distinguished authors on political communications and is guest lecturer at several universities such as Otto-Suhr Institute of Freie Universität Berlin and the department of political science at the University of Innsbruck. As Senior Advisor, Peter Radunski advises MSL Germany’s clients at the nexus of politics, the general public, and business.

 

Bernd A. Rauch

Advisory Board Member

Bernd A. Rauch is one of the most experienced experts for corporate and financial communications in Germany. Since 1983, Rauch was responsible for and developed communication programs for more than 110 stock market launches – for example for Porsche, Salzgitter, Puma, SAP, Hugo Boss, BHW, Fielmann, and Merck. For 15 years, Rauch was managing partner at B&L Dr. von Bergen und Rauch GmbH in Frankfurt (Main), one of the leading German consulting companies for corporate communications, IPO communications, investor relations, and financial PR in the 1980s and 1990s. After the sale of his company to Interpublic Group in 1997, he was appointed CEO of B&L Ludgate and also Board Director of the Ludgate Group (London, New York, Frankfurt, Hong Kong). In 2001, he founded BerndRauchConsulting in Frankfurt (Main). Bernd Rauch is a member of Frankfurter Gesellschaft für Handel, Industrie und Wissenschaft and the Carlton Club (London).
